A supplier who can document what it sells.

Melisa supplies bee products to workshops, restaurants, pharmacies, herbalists, distribution and private label. Every batch arrives with its origin and its documentation, because in a trade channel that is not an extra, it is the job.
Our house

One raw material. Four crafts.

The same material runs through the whole house, from raw to formula, with a single chain of custody. The standard is ours at every stage: we set the conditions, the inputs and the controls, and we audit them, wherever the making happens.

Raw

Monofloral and multifloral honey, pollen, bee bread, raw propolis, wax. The hive as it is, with the least possible intervention.

Derivatives

Extracts, tinctures, compound honeys and preparations. This is where transformation begins, and where the requirement to lose nothing on the way begins.

Bee supplements

COMING SOON
Royal jelly, propolis and other hive derivatives in constant, stable dose formats. Beekeeping tradition with the precision of a modern supplement.

Bee cosmetics

COMING SOON
Wax, honey and propolis applied to the skin. Bee cosmetics are among the oldest there are; our contribution is to make them to a contemporary standard.
Who we supply

Six channels, one standard

Every channel has different demands. The product and the traceability behind it do not.

Restaurants and hospitality

Monofloral honeys with accountable origin for the menu and for pairings, plus single-portion formats for breakfast and room service.
Menu · Single portion

Our commitment

Excellence is not a promise. It is the work.

Melisa inherits the professional standard of Vitall Bienestar and applies it to the hive. These five commitments are the same ones the group holds with all its partners.
01

Dedicated support

A real person, not a generic form. Advice on product, format and use, and a fast answer when something is urgent.
02

Legal and ethical compliance

We operate transparently and in line with European rules. We give you communication material that respects the health claims rules, so you can promote without exposing yourself.
03

Scientific grounding

Every technical statement we put in writing is backed by evidence or by our own analysis. If we cannot support it, we do not say it.
04

Quality control and traceability

Every batch is inspected and documented. You can reconstruct the journey of any unit we have supplied you.
05

Service from start to finish

From product selection through logistics and later technical support, with a single trusted contact.
Documentation

What comes with every order

In the trade channel, a supplier is worth what its documentation is worth. This is what we provide without needing to be asked twice.

Technical sheet

Composition, format, storage, shelf life and conditions of use for every reference.

Certificate of analysis

HMF, moisture, conductivity and pollen profile of the specific batch you receive, not of a typical batch.

Batch traceability

Region, flowering, beekeeper and harvest date. Reconstructable unit by unit.

Halal information

The whole range is made without alcohol from the raw material onwards, not as a later adaptation for export. Halal certification is in progress; we tell you its status when you need it for your own labelling.

Allergen information

A compliant declaration so you can build your own labelling safely.

Communication material

Texts and talking points prepared to respect the European rules on health claims.

Regulatory compliance

Talking points you can publish as they are

In the European Union, Regulation (EC) 1924/2006 decides what may be claimed about a food. For propolis and royal jelly there is no authorised health claim at all, so a good part of the commercial material circulating in the sector cannot be reproduced without taking on risk. We do the opposite: we give you sales copy you actually can publish, and the explanation of why the rest cannot be.

What may be said

Everything that describes the product, its origin and its analysis. That is more than it sounds, and it is what genuinely tells one batch from another.
  • Botanical and geographical origin, and the harvest season.
  • Analytical parameters of the batch: moisture, HMF, diastase index and electrical conductivity.
  • Method of extraction: raw, unpasteurised, cold settled.
  • Sensory description: colour, aroma, texture and crystallisation behaviour.
  • Composition and ingredients, with their quantities.
  • Traceability by batch code.
  • Culinary, formulation and dosage uses.
  • Nutrition claims from the annex to Regulation (EC) 1924/2006, where the product meets their conditions.

What may not be said

This is not commercial caution, it is the text of the rule. These statements are unlawful in the European Union, whoever publishes them.
  • Any unauthorised health claim. Article 10.1 of Regulation (EC) 1924/2006 prohibits them unless they appear in the authorised lists set out in Regulation (EU) 432/2012.
  • Preventing, treating or curing a disease. Prohibited for any food by article 7.3 of Regulation (EU) 1169/2011, which also applies to advertising and presentation.
  • Vague references to general wellbeing unless accompanied by a specific authorised claim (article 10.3).
  • Recommendations from named doctors or health professionals, and references to the rate or extent of weight loss (article 12).
  • Attributing to propolis or royal jelly any effect on immunity, inflammation, energy or rest: there is no authorised claim for these ingredients in the European Union.
  • In cosmetics, any therapeutic claim. The common criteria are in Regulation (EU) 655/2013, which implements article 20 of Regulation (EC) 1223/2009.

What the talking points include

  • One piece of sales copy per line (raw, derivatives, bee supplements and bee cosmetics), written to be published unchanged.
  • The list of what may not be claimed about that line, with the specific article that prohibits it.
  • The claims you can use when the formulation meets their conditions, with their exact authorised wording.
  • The batch description and its analytical parameters, so your product sheet says something verifiable.
Regulatory framework: Regulation (EC) 1924/2006 (nutrition and health claims), Regulation (EU) 432/2012 (list of authorised claims), Regulation (EU) 1169/2011 (food information to consumers), Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 and Regulation (EU) 655/2013 (cosmetic products). This is commercial support material, not legal advice: responsibility for labelling and communication lies with whoever publishes them.
How we work

Four steps, no friction

01

You tell us about your project

Who you are, what you sell and to whom. With that we already know whether we can help you, and we tell you frankly.
02

Catalogue and samples

We send you the trade catalogue with terms and, where it makes sense, samples so you can validate the product before committing.
03

Tailored terms

Price, format, lead times and logistics matched to your real volume and your calendar, not to a generic rate card.
04

We grow together

Stable supply, periodic review and early access to limited harvests and to upcoming launches.
What we look for

A long relationship, not a one-off order

Good collaborations are not held up by purchase orders. We work best with partners who:

Value origin

Prefer a product they can explain to one they can only sell. If your customer asks where it comes from, you want to be able to answer.

Communicate responsibly

Respect the European rules on health claims. Propolis and royal jelly are precisely where the most exaggeration happens and where the most penalties fall.

Put the customer first

Recommend what suits, not what leaves the most margin this week. It is the only basis on which repeat business is built.

Think several years ahead

Beekeeping depends on flowering and on the weather. A partner who understands that a year can be short is a partner you can plan with.
Frequently asked questions

What we usually get asked

What is the minimum order?

It depends on the format and the channel: bulk for a workshop is not the same as single portions for hospitality. We settle it in the first conversation, with your real volume on the table.

Do you send samples?

Yes, when the project justifies it. We would rather you validated the product before committing to an order: it saves us both time.

Do you do private label?

Yes. We develop products under your brand with the same analytical control we apply to our own. The scope depends on format and volume.

Do you export outside Spain?

Yes, to Europe and the Arab world. The whole range is made without alcohol from the raw material onwards; halal certification is in progress.

What happens if a year has a bad harvest?

We tell you before, not after. We work with comarcas across several regions precisely so we can reallocate when a flowering fails, and we warn you with enough margin to plan.

Can I visit the apiaries?

Yes. It is the best way to understand why the product costs what it costs, and it is a conversation we enjoy having with partners who are serious.

How are you different from a wholesaler?

A wholesaler sells you a batch. We sell you a batch with its origin, its analysis, and someone who answers the phone when your customer asks something technical.

When do the bee supplements and bee cosmetics arrive?

They are in development. Trade partners get early access to the catalogue and the terms before the public launch.
